When I’m gone I’ll be a circling swallow,
Flying gracefully among the clouds,
And wherever you go, I’m sure to follow.
The only bird found ‘round the world,
Flying gracefully as I circle the crowds,
With my head held high, and wings unfurled.
Look for me and my steely blue back,
Flying gracefully no longer wrapped in a shroud,
My wings outstretched to round in your slack.
So with every swallow that you see,
We’re flying gracefully as you make us proud,
And high above all, please don’t forget about me
